Start with a conversation
Every situation is different, which is why the first step is a free 30-minute call.
This initial conversation allows us to understand how everyday technology currently fits into daily life - what feels straightforward, what feels frustrating, and what may have quietly become harder than it needs to be.
The call is relaxed, practical and focused on clarity. There is no pressure and no obligation.
If it sounds like structured support could be helpful, we can discuss what the next step might look like. In some situations, a few simple adjustments may be all that is needed.
The aim is simple: to understand the situation and determine whether support would genuinely be useful.

When it may be time
You may have noticed small changes such as:
• Growing frustration with everyday technology
• Avoidance of online tasks that once felt manageable
• Concerns about scams, security or unfamiliar messages
• A gradual reduction in confidence using devices
These signs are common and often develop gradually.
Early guidance and clear understanding can prevent small frustrations from becoming larger barriers to independence.
⸻
What happens after?
If it feels appropriate to continue, the next step may involve a private, in-home consultation.
During this visit we can look more closely at how phones, tablets or computers are currently being used and where support would be most helpful.
From there we can determine whether the Independence Programme would be the right next step.
